Purosearch Ltd. has partnered with an independent veterinary group in Stockton-on-Tees to recruit a Veterinary Surgeon. The clinic offers a Fear Free approach, modern facilities, and a supportive team, with a focus on high-quality, affordable pet care.

The role is 4 days a week (08:30-19:00) with a mix of consulting and theatre time, daily admin, 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, and no out-of-hours work. Salary £40,000–£65,000, with CPD and career progression opportunities.

Job description

An independent, family-owned veterinary group is seeking a passionate and dynamic Veterinary Surgeon to join its purpose-built clinic in Stockton-on-Tees. The Practice

The modern, well-equipped clinic offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic and treatment facilities, including:

• Extensive in-house laboratory diagnostics

The Veterinary Surgeon will work alongside an experienced and supportive team comprising veterinary surgeons, five Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs), two Veterinary Care Assistants (VCAs), and four front-of-house Care Coordinators.

The Role

• 4 days per week (08:30am - 7:00pm)
• A balanced mix of consulting and surgical/theatre time
• Dedicated daily administration time built into the schedule
• 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (08:30am - 1:00pm), with frequency adjusted as the clinic continues to grow
• No out-of-hours (OOH) commitments
