About the Practice
We’re recruiting on behalf of a friendly small animal practice on the outskirts of Nottingham. With excellent transport links into the city and beyond, this location is perfect for commuters while still offering a relaxed, suburban feel.

The town boasts a variety of independent shops, cafés, and pubs, along with good schools, affordable housing, and a growing local economy.

You’ll be joining:

3 Vets

4 Nurses

4 Receptionists providing outstanding admin support
The team is welcoming, collaborative, and even enjoys the occasional night out together!

What We’re Looking For

Qualified Veterinary Surgeon with valid RCVS registration

Solid experience in small animal practice, confident in both consults and surgery

In-depth understanding of UK first opinion practice

Confident in surgery (a surgical bias or certificate is a bonus)

Potential to step into a Lead Vet role for the right candidate

Full-time preferred, but part-time considered (flexible work cycle available)

Weekend rota of either 1:3 or 1:4, with time off in lieu

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Passion for animal welfare and delivering high-quality patient care

Team player who can also work independently
