IVC Evidensia Glenthorne Vets in Staffordshire is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon for maternity cover. This 40-hour week is worked over 4 or 5 days with no out-of-hours, across Uttoxeter and Tutbury, offering a varied caseload of surgery and medicine and clinical freedom with support from experienced colleagues.

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you'll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.
You'll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You'll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.
This is a 40-hour week, worked over 4 or 5 days, with no out-of-hours requirement. You'll work across both our Uttoxeter and Tutbury practices, seeing a varied caseload with a good mix of surgery and medicine. We offer plenty of clinical freedom and autonomy, while always having experienced colleagues around you for support and discussion. There are 15 Saturday mornings per year, running from 8:30am-12:45pm.
You'll be joining a lovely, supportive team of vets and RVNs, with a real focus on working together and helping each other out. We have certificate holders in both Surgery and Medicine within the team, so you'll have access to experienced colleagues who are happy to share their knowledge and support your development. We have a great range of equipment to support first-opinion clinical work, including: digital X-ray, dental radiography, ultrasound, in-house laboratory and experienced surgical and medical clinicians within the team.
