Job summary

IVC Evidensia Mount Road Vets in Manchester is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established practice. You will work in a sole charge role with a supportive nursing and admin team, helping to develop the practice with leadership from the Practice Manager and Area Director.

The role is full-time (40 hours), with no OOH or weekend work, and hours from 10am to 6pm. Join a collaborative community with modern facilities and loyal clients.

Qualifications

  • A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS.
  • Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proactive approach to learning, openness to feedback and development.
  • Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • A passion for delivering excellent patient and client care.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver high standard of patient and client care across a varied caseload.
  • Develop clinical skills and interests while sharing knowledge with colleagues and contributing to the clinical culture of the practice.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team here at Mount Road Vets! You will be joining an experienced team with a high caseload in a well-established and respected veterinary practice in Manchester.

This is a sole charge position giving you the opportunity to develop the practice and lead an experienced nursing and support team. You will be able to mold and develop the practice with support from the Practice Manager and Area Director.At Mount Road Vets we are dedicated to helping our team members reach their full potential, which is why we provide clearly defined opportunities for career advancement. Full time is 40 hours a week with no OOH or weekends. Hours are between 10am and 6pm. At Mount Road a collaborative environment is encouraged, with the opportunity to share resources with other local practices and facilitating full continuity of cases. There are sole charge elements to the rota so you must be comfortable with this.
