Job description

Salary up to £70,000 DOE plus up to £5,000 Welcome Bonus, up to £3,000 Relocation Allowance

Are you a motivated small animal vet ready for your next adventure? Seafield Veterinary Practice is seeking a confident all-rounder dedicated to high clinical standards. While the role is primarily based at our Keith branch, you’ll occasionally provide support at our Banff and Buckie clinics.

You’ll enjoy a varied caseload, including consultations, soft tissue surgeries, and dental procedures, with opportunities for internal referrals to our Banff branch. Although predominantly your caseload will be centred in small animal, our Buckie branch offers the exposure to some exotics.

Experience is a plus, but not a deal‑breaker; we provide mentorship for the right candidate. As we expand to meet growing demand, we welcome applications from consult‑only vets, surgical‑only vets, or those who enjoy a mix of both. Join us and be part of our well‑equipped, supportive team!

Explore your full potential

Our people are at the heart of everything that we do, that’s why we know that work‑life balance is vital in supporting our people to be their best selves. Our flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours offers a balance that truly flexes with you and your lifestyle no matter what stage you are in your career.

Our Keith Branch is open 8:00am – 6:00pm and could offer working hours within this time, be it 4 or 5 days. We are flexible and willing to adjust to a 4‑ or 5‑day pattern and hours to suit both parties. We have vets working varying hours across the board but ideally, we would like a minimum of 4 days until 6 pm where possible with a share in 1 in 4 Saturdays and has no out‑of‑hours requirement.

Why Seafield Vet Group?

At the heart of our RCVS Accredited Practice in Keith lies a cutting‑edge hub equipped with a comprehensive array of diagnostic and surgical tools that empower our team to deliver exceptional care. With three branches in the area, we are truly at the very heart of our local community.

Here, you’ll enjoy a remarkable work‑life balance amidst magnificent scenery that truly offers something for everyone!
