We are looking for a full or part-time Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. Professional and personal development is at the centre of our practice, with exposure to support your success. This role has no OOH or on-call.
Crossroads is a three-site small animal first opinion practice in High Wycombe, Hazlemere, and Watlington. Our modern facilities and supportive team provide a welcoming environment. As a training practice, we offer ample support to help new staff integrate and gain experience. We regularly gather for clinical discussions and maintain strong social connections within the practice and with local referral practices.
We have a dedicated team of 8 vets and 7 RVNs, supported by student nurses and PCAs. One of our vets is pursuing a surgery certificate, and we actively support further training for all team members. Head Receptionists lead our reception team, and the head and deputy head nurses support our nursing team.
This role will be divided between our 3 branches, usually High Wycombe and the branch closest to home, but travel to all branches will be required.
This position involves working across our three branches, with flexibility to divide time between them. The role includes general veterinary duties for first opinion small animals and participation in our team as we maintain a collaborative, supportive practice. There is no requirement for OOH or on-call shifts. Work-life balance and flexible rotas are prioritised, with weekend rota commitments shared among the team (3 in 7 weekends for full-time and pro-rata for part-time). We are open to discussing alternative working arrangements and shifts.
At Crossroads Veterinary Centre, we prioritise our team’s well-being. Flexible rotas and adaptable working hours are tailored to fit your lifestyle. There is a need to share in weekend rota commitments, with arrangements discussed on a case-by-case basis.
