Job summary

Avenue Vets in Grantham, part of Inspiring Vet Care, is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly 5-vet practice supported by a dedicated team. Located on the A1 with a Bottesford branch for shared cover, we deliver high‑quality care to small animals.

You will work closely with colleagues to maintain excellent patient and client care across a varied caseload, develop your clinical interests, and contribute to our collaborative, supportive culture.

Qualifications

• A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS.
• Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
• A proactive approach to learning, with openness to feedback and development.
• Professional, reliable and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
• A passion for delivering excellent patient and client care.

Salary up to £65,000 DOE plus up to £3,000 relocation allowance

Avenue Vets are on the lookout for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and supportive 5-vet practice, supported by 5 RVNs, 1 SVN, a VCA and a dedicated support team.

We are a well-established small animal practice based in Grantham, conveniently located on the A1 and approximately one hour from London King's Cross by direct train. We also have a branch practice in the nearby village of Bottesford, where you will share cover with our vet team.

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you'll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

You'll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.
