Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking a passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team at Mearley Vets, covering 3 sites across Lancashire. This role offers a market-leading salary up to £65,000 DOE, plus relocation and welcome bonuses.

You will work 4 days per week with hours from 8:30am to 7:30pm and a Saturday rota (1 in 4). There are no out-of-hours duties, and the team supports CPD and wellbeing initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Veterinary degree and RCVS registration required or eligible.
  • Experience in routine medical and surgical cases preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proactive approach to learning and professional development.
  • Professionalism, reliability and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consultations and surgeries across three sites.
  • Carry out client callbacks, prescriptions, and in-patient workups.
  • Contribute to ongoing clinical development and share knowledge with colleagues.
  • Deliver high-quality patient and client care within a collaborative team.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team at Mearley Vets, covering 3 sites across Lancashire.

Rota

We strive to provide our team with a varied and rewarding working day. Your duties across the week will include consultations, surgeries, client callbacks, prescriptions, in-patient care and workups.

You will ideally work 4 days per week, with hours varying between 8.30am - 7:30 pm, alongside a Saturday rota (typically 1 in 4). However, we understand the importance of flexibility and are happy to discuss shift patterns and working hours to accommodate your preferences.

There are no out-of-hours or bank holiday duties, giving you plenty of time to enjoy your personal life.
