Job summary

Virginia Water Vets, part of IVC Evidensia, invites a Veterinary Surgeon to join a supportive, community-focused practice in Virginia Water, Surrey. The role centers on delivering excellent patient and client care with a balanced mix of consults and surgery.

You’ll work alongside a strong team, with access to visiting specialists and a network of nearby IVC practices. The package includes a generous salary up to £70,000 with a welcome bonus up to £5,000 and relocation up to £5,000.

Qualifications

• A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS.
• Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
• A proactive approach to learning, with openness to feedback and development.
• Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• A passion for delivering excellent patient and client care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient and client care across a varied caseload.
• Collaborate with the wider team and visiting specialists to support dentistry and ophthalmology work.
• Manage cases from consults through surgery, ensuring high standards of care.
