Job summary

Vets Now Preston invites applications from Out of Hours Veterinary Surgeons to join our Emergency and Critical Care team on a part-time basis. The role offers an average of 24 hours per week, with a 1:2 rotation across nights and weekend days, and backshifts with bank holiday coverage.

This flexible pattern is designed to improve work–life balance while building a long-term ECC career; the role includes a comprehensive benefits package and ongoing professional development.

Part Time Veterinary Surgeon

Vets Now Preston are welcoming applications from Out of Hours (OOH) Veterinary Surgeons with a passion for Emergency and Critical Care to join their team on a part-time basis. Vets Now is the UK’s leading provider of emergency veterinary care, with a nationwide network of out of hours clinics and 24/7 emergency hospitals. Now for a permanent role that works around you

This role offers an average of 24 hours per week, working across weekday nights, weekend days on a 1:2 rotation, as well as backshifts and a share of bank holidays. You'll never work more than three nights in a row. Shifts are as follows:

• Nights 1900-0830
• Backs 1900-0100
• Saturday day 1200-1930
• Sunday day 0830-1930
