Job description

Are you a dedicated veterinary professional looking to make a meaningful impact on the lives of pets and their owners? Our client, an established mobile veterinary service in Norfolk and North Suffolk, is seeking a compassionate Mobile Vet to join their esteemed team. This role offers a unique and rewarding experience, allowing you to provide high-quality care in the comfort of clients' homes, ensuring a relaxed and stress-free environment for both pets and their owners.

Imagine having the time to truly connect with your patients and their families, without the rush of back-to-back appointments. The focus is on delivering personalised care, with fewer daily appointments to ensure each pet receives the attention they deserve. Supported by a small, experienced team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of animals and their owners, especially during challenging times such as palliative care and peaceful euthanasia. There is also an associated hospital for surgery and hospitalisation and you will have continuity of care with all your patients.

The role involves working four days a week (with the possibility of three days) from 9am to 6pm, including a half-hour paid lunch break, and one in three Saturday mornings for emergencies only. The position offers a competitive salary of up to £67,000, with VDS and RCVS fees covered, and an open CPD policy to support your professional development.

To excel in this role, you should be a qualified vet with a passion for providing compassionate and comprehensive care. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be liaising closely with pet owners to develop and implement tailored treatment plans. Experience in a mobile or home-visit setting is advantageous but not required, as the supportive team (3 Vets 2RVNs and 3 Support Staff) will ensure you are well-prepared for this unique practice model.

Join a practice that values kindness, compassion, and integrity, and become part of a team that truly puts the welfare of pets first. If you are ready to embrace a fulfilling role that allows you to make a genuine difference, apply today.
