Here at Academy Vets, we are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. We are a busy mixed practice in the Southwest of Scotland where the grass is green and the sun always shines. The role is truly mixed – no two days the same from dairy fertility, small animal consultation and surgery to health planning, fertility testing and horses.
Our rota patterns are flexible to fit your lifestyle. You work 5 days per week, 8:30 am to 6:00 pm with an hour lunch break. There is a weekend rota and we provide out of hours on a 2:10 basis, with occasional Saturday mornings. Vets receive a half day off the Friday following their weekend first‑call. Two Vets are always on call to provide backup and support if necessary.
