Job summary

Blue Cross Victoria Hospital in London is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join a 40‑hour week (Mon–Fri 9am–5pm) with a 6‑month FTC option. You will treat a wide range of cases in a 24‑hour hospital, with night/weekend rota and strong emphasis on clinical excellence.

RCVS-registered with small animal/mixed practice experience is required; driving licence helpful. London Weighting and CPD support available.

Qualifications

• Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) is required.
• Experience in small animal or mixed practice is essential.
• Experience working as sole charge veterinarian is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Handle a varied caseload including medical, surgical and emergency cases.
• Deliver evidence-based veterinary care while following clinical guidelines.
• Contribute to a culture of learning, wellbeing and team development.
