Job summary

Lincoln Vet is recruiting three experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeons for a modern, purpose-built practice. You’ll join a supportive, ambitious team with an outstanding nursing staff, exceptional clinical support, and a loyal client base committed to gold-standard care.

The package includes a salary from £60,000+ (uncapped), twice-yearly reviews, relocation allowance, Golden Hello and Golden Thank You after 18 months, with a strong emphasis on long-term career progression and involvement

Qualifications

• MRCVS registered or eligible.
• Minimum 3 years' postgraduate experience.
• Strong GP skills.
• Interest or confidence in a clinical discipline such as Surgery, Internal Medicine, Imaging, Ophthalmology, Dentistry, Emergency & Critical Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality GP veterinary care with a focus on patient welfare.
• Collaborate with nurses, veterinarians and visiting specialists to deliver comprehensive care.
• Contribute to a supportive team environment and ongoing service development.

We are recruiting three experienced Veterinary Surgeons on behalf of a modern, purpose-built small animal practice in Lincoln. This is an exciting opportunity to join a clinic that is rebuilding with an ambitious vision, an outstanding nursing team, and excellent clinical support.

The Team

You’ll be joining a supportive and collaborative environment including:

• Experienced permanent GP Veterinary Surgeon.
• Highly experienced Head Nurse leading a skilled nursing team.
• Four experienced RVNs with interests including:
  • Orthopaedics
  • Complex soft tissue surgery
  • Schedule 3 procedures
  • Dental procedures
  • Nurse clinics
  • Diagnostic imaging
• Stable Client Care team.
• Clinical support from neighbouring experienced vets with interests in:
  • Surgery
  • Ophthalmology
  • Diagnostic Imaging
  • Internal Medicine
• Visiting Cardiologist providing specialist support.

The practice is looking to build a long-term veterinary team with professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

Requirements

Salary & Benefits

• Salary from £60,000+ (uncapped depending on experience)
• Salary reviewed twice per year

Additional Financial Package

• £1,000 recognition bonus per quarter (guaranteed for the first two quarters)
