This permanent Veterinary Surgeon role offers the scope to work across consultations, surgery and inpatient care, with support to develop greater confidence or deepen your expertise.
Primarily based at a veterinary hospital in Middlesbrough, you’ll join an established hospital and practice team. The full-time rota is 40 hours across four days, with part-time rotas open for discussion. There is also flexibility to offer shifts in Middlesbrough or Hartlepool.
From routine appointments to advanced emergency cases, the caseload offers variety and the opportunity to follow patients through investigations, treatment and recovery. You’ll be confident handling medical and surgical cases, thorough in your diagnostic approach and committed to providing thoughtful, reassuring care for patients and their owners. A willingness to keep developing is equally important. You’ll enjoy discussing cases, sharing knowledge and helping colleagues grow, while contributing to clinical standards across the wider team. Clear communication and an approachable manner will help you build trusted, lasting relationships with clients.
