Job summary

Albavet Glasgow, part of the CVS Vets family, is seeking a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, supportive team. The role offers a 40-hour week, with no out-of-hours work, and opportunities to lead and develop leadership skills over time.

You will work in a busy practice with extensive clinical support, handling medical and surgical cases and occasional sole charge, while benefiting from a strong emphasis on wellbeing and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Experienced small animal veterinary surgeon with a busy caseload.
• Competent in routine medical and surgical cases and diagnostic workups.
• Interest in leadership development and team mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Manage a busy, varied caseload with clinical support from our network.
• Provide medical and surgical care, including occasional sole charge.
• Contribute to clinical standards, leadership and team development.
