Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care in Chatham, Kent, is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon with 2–3 years UK clinical experience. This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week across 4 days, with a weekend rota 1 in 3 Saturday mornings and no out-of-hours commitments as we host for Vets Now.

You’ll have structured career pathways, CPD funding, mentorship, and leadership training toward roles such as Lead Vet or Clinical Director, with support to develop interests in medicine, surgery, dentistry, or other clinical areas.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years UK clinical experience as a Veterinary Surgeon.
• Interest in developing in medicine, surgery, dentistry or leadership.
• Non-senior clinical role with support for career development.

Responsibilities

• As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver high-standard patient and client care across a varied caseload.
• You’ll develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing knowledge with colleagues to enhance the clinical culture of the practice.
• This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week across 4 days, with a weekend rota of 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (8am–1pm) and no out-of-hours commitments.
