Job description

Are you a passionate and enthusiastic veterinary surgeon looking for an exciting new role in a well-established practice in Northwest London? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

Having recently celebrated over 70 years of caring for pets in the greater London area, our clients are now well established within the community. They have practices all over the city and continue to pride themselves on always providing the highest level of care to their patients and clients and offering their employees the greatest level of support and understanding. They also currently hold a silver Cat Friendly accreditation from the ISFM.

They are currently looking for a confident vet to join their long-standing team, where you will benefit from a varied caseload and busy paced environment day to day. Our clients are looking for someone to come in with a positive, can-do attitude and work with the team to continue to provide top level care for their patients.

The role is full time, permanent with one day off per week, and 1 in 3 Saturday mornings and 1 in 6 Sundays at their local hospital site. Candidates will ideally be confident and competent working sole charge most of the time (with the support of regional team). There are no out of hours requirements and the nearby purpose built, veterinary hospital provides all out of hours care and supports the branch teams with anything that cannot be worked up in practice.

Both practices are filled with state-of-the-art equipment and are in a lovely area in the northwest of London. They have fantastic public transport links, with train stations practically on their doorsteps and are surrounded by great entertainment, lovely housing, fantastic restaurants, bars and parks to enjoy during your free time. They are also just 40 minutes from Heathrow and Luton airport for national and/or international travel with ease, so you will never be at a loss.
