Job summary

Vets for Pets in Sydenham is seeking an experienced vet to join our multi-vet practice. You will work in a modern clinic with digital radiography, in-house lab, ultrasound, and orthopedic surgery capabilities, and you’ll coach new qualified and graduate vets.

We offer a competitive salary (£50,000–£60,000 FTE depending on experience), 28 days holiday, RCVS/VDS/BVA fees paid, generous CPD allowance, staff discount, pension, cycle to work, and no out-of-hours work. Part-time options are available.

Qualifications

• Experienced vet with strong surgical experience and ability to coach new graduates.
• Willing to work full-time or part-time in a multi-vet setting.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality veterinary care to companion animals.
• Mentor and support junior vets and graduates.
• Participate in caseloads including orthopaedic procedures where applicable.

This amazing opportunity would be suitable for an experienced vet who has strong surgical experience and who is happy to coach new qualified / graduate vets. We can consider full or part-time hours for the role. Part time would be working 2/3 days per week and the weekend rota is either a 1:4 or 1:5 Saturdays (9:00am – 3:00pm).
