Veterinary Surgeon – East Grinstead

£75,000 DOE | 4-day week | No OOH | 1 in 3 Saturday mornings

We're currently recruiting for two Veterinary Surgeons to join an established practice with 6 vets, 6 nurses and a highly experienced management team.

The Role

This is a varied first-opinion role covering consultations, medical work-ups and routine surgery, with a broad caseload and plenty of support from experienced colleagues.

There's no expectation that you have to be an expert in everything. The team is keen to support vets in developing their clinical interests and building on the areas they particularly enjoy.

You'll have access to CPD, mentoring and wider clinical development opportunities, with plenty of scope to continue progressing your career.

The Working Pattern

The practice understands that life outside of work matters, which is reflected in the rota:

• 4 days per week for full-time
• Part-time considered
• No out-of-hours
• 1 in 3 Saturday mornings
• One late finish per week until 7.30pm
• Flexibility around working hours and rota patterns

The Team

You'll be joining a genuinely established team of 6 vets and 6 nurses, supported by two Practice Managers.

There's a huge amount of experience within the practice, including a Practice Manager who has been there since 1996.

We're looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys the variety of first-opinion practice and wants to be part of a supportive team.

You’ll ideally have:

• RCVS registration or eligibility to register
• Experience working in small-animal practice
• Confidence with routine medical and surgical cases
• Strong communication skills
• A collaborative approach to working within a team
• A genuine interest in developing your clinical skills
