Veterinary Surgeon – Consulting/Vaccine Vet

The Role

The successful candidate will work with a diverse caseload, primarily comprising sick and injured pets, making a tangible difference every day. The clinic is exceptionally well-equipped, featuring five dedicated consulting rooms, two advanced theatres, and a dental suite. Separate dog and cat wards ensure the comfort of inpatients throughout their stay. The practice handles a wide range of medical and surgical cases, with the added expertise of an on-site Orthopaedic surgeon. Operating in a flat, non-hierarchical structure, the team thrives in a culture of inclusivity and mutual support, where every team member contributes to delivering clinical excellence.

As the only veterinary Community Interest Company (CIC) in the UK, this practice stands apart from traditional veterinary services. Their mission is clear: no pet should go untreated or face euthanasia when a viable treatment exists. By offering free consultations and transparent pricing, they help break down barriers to care, making veterinary treatment accessible to those earning the Real Living Wage and ensuring pets receive the care they deserve.

Working Hours
  • 20 hours per week, worked over 4 days
  • 2:9 Saturday rotation (TOIL applies)
