Job summary

Aspen Veterinary Surgery is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly, well-established first opinion team in Tolworth, London. This role offers full-time hours and a supportive environment designed to develop your clinical skills.

With a loyal client base and strong RVN support, you will conduct first opinion care, perform routine surgeries, and work closely with the wider clinical team while mentoring junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' postgraduate experience and able to perform routine surgery independently
• Ultrasound experience would be highly desirable
• Interests in soft tissue surgery, diagnostic imaging or other areas of clinical development

Responsibilities

• Conducting and providing first opinion veterinary care
• Performing routine surgery procedures
• Conducting medical work-ups and diagnostics
• Delivering high standards of patient and client care
• Working collaboratively with the wider clinical team
• Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues
• Contributing to the ongoing development of the practice
• Participating in the Saturday rota, expected to be 1 in 3
