We are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our brand-new state-of-the-art practice in Clacton-on-Sea, England, UK.

This exciting opportunity offers you the chance to be part of a friendly and dynamic team that prides itself on delivering exceptional care. Our practice, situated inside one of our stores, is designed to provide not just top-notch clinical services but also a supportive and enjoyable work environment. The newly opened clinic is equipped with cutting-edge facilities and driven by a passionate team dedicated to making a positive impact. Clacton-on-Sea, a delightful seaside town on the Essex coast, is known for its traditional British charm, sandy beaches, and vibrant atmosphere. The practice is open six days a week, from Monday to Saturday, and offers flexible working hours, either full-time or part-time, to ensure a healthy work-life balance.

We are open 6 days a week; Monday – Friday: 9am – 7pm, Saturday: 9am – 6pm (on a rota basis).

What you will do:

  • Deliver high-quality veterinary services and procedures in a brand-new environment.
  • Consult with pet owners, diagnose health issues, and provide comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Encourage a positive team spirit and provide guidance to veterinary nurses and support staff.
  • Perform routine and complex surgeries with precision and care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and liaise effectively with clients.
  • Take part in rota-based weekend work on a 1:3 Saturday schedule.

About you:

  • You are an experienced or newly qualified Veterinary Surgeon with RCVS registration.
  • Confidence in routine procedures with the willingness to develop special areas of interest.
  • Proficiency in ultrasound and strong medicine skills are advantageous.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to animal welfare and delivering standard-setting care.
  • Ability to work both independently and as an integral part of a team.
