Overview

A friendly and supportive practice in Rotherham is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their kind and collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity for a vet looking to grow their career in a practice that values clinical quality, teamwork, and work-life balance. The practice offers a full range of services including nurse-led clinics, dental procedures, and routine surgery, and is backed by a strong nursing team and a newly appointed Practice Manager. The team works closely with a nearby 24-hour hospital to ensure seamless patient care.

Working Pattern

4 days/week. 1 in 6 weekend rota at a 24-hour hospital

Relocation

A relocation package is available for candidates moving more than 60 miles or from outside the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of clinical care during consultations and procedures
• Provide clear and compassionate communication with clients
• Prepare accurate treatment plans with transparent cost estimates
• Support clinical handovers and arrange transfer for out-of-hours care when needed
• Work as part of a team to share and promote clinical best practice
• Assist with mentoring and supporting junior team members when appropriate
