Vetted Recruitment Limited is helping a distinguished independent small animal hospital in Hertfordshire to recruit a dedicated veterinary surgeon. The role offers a supportive, forward-thinking environment with rich learning opportunities and a commitment to patient and client care.

You will join a team of 16 experienced vets, manage a variety of cases, and have access to funding for certificates and ongoing CPD.

Qualifications

• Qualified Veterinary Surgeon and eligible to register with the RCVS.
• A few years of experience in small animal practice preferred.
• Willingness to pursue certificates with company support.
• Strong interest in diverse cases and hands-on learning.

Responsibilities

• Handle a diverse caseload in-house, from soft tissue surgeries to orthopaedics.
• Collaborate with a close-knit team of 16 experienced vets and share knowledge.
• Mentor new graduates and discuss tricky cases during rounds and in daily practice.
• Engage in regular in-house CPD sessions and be active in clinical discussions.
