Job summary

Medivet Langley is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join a refurbished clinic with scope to influence caseload and clinical focus. The full-time role includes weekend days at Watford 24 Hour, light on-call commitments, and pro-rated bank holidays for part-time arrangements.

You’ll join a supportive team with an experienced Head Veterinary Nurse and dedicated staff. The practice offers autonomy within a collaborative environment and opportunities to develop clinical interests.

Looking for a role where you can shape the direction of a practice? Medivet Langley offers a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a refurbished, clinic with real scope to influence caseload and clinical focus.

This is a Full-time position with flexibility, The rota includes l weekends at Watford 24 Hour, a light on-call commitment (approx. 1 week per year), and 1–2 bank holidays annually (pro-rated for part-time), giving you a balance of clinical exposure and lifestyle.

You’ll be part of a supportive, close-knit team, Part-time Vet, an experienced Head Veterinary Nurse, VCA and dedicated support staff. It’s an environment where you’ll have clinical autonomy while still feeling backed by a collaborative team.

The practice is a real standout, refurbished with a bright, layout, including two large consult rooms, a theatre, prep area, ultrasound, x-ray, and separate dog and cat kennels. With a loyal client base and clear room for growth, there’s genuine opportunity to develop your interests, and we’re open to investing in equipment to support your clinical passions.
