Job description
Veterinary Surgeon

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am- 5pm

Working with a core but highly experienced and passionate team of Vets and Vet Nurses, you’ll be providing medical care to the Island’s animals. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating and preventing medical conditions to pets and wildlife.

You’ll work collaboratively with the wider team to help fulfil our purpose and effectively demonstrate our values.

Working as a Vet at the JSPCA means you have the unique opportunity to work beyond traditional practice. Not only will you have the chance to make a difference to the health and lives of the animals, but you'll be able to contribute and directly impact our work to improve animal care and welfare in Jersey.

Working in Jersey

For this role, you must hold a full registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) and you will need a Jersey licence to practise.

We will guide and support you through the necessary licensing and relocation process to make your move to Jersey as smooth as possible.
