A leading veterinary practice in Peterborough is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. The role offers competitive salary up to £60,000 depending on experience, alongside benefits such as a generous CPD allowance, holiday leave, and in-house career development opportunities. Applicants should have RCVS registration and ideally a year of small animal practice experience. Participation in weekend rota is required.
We’re looking for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our supportive and experienced team working across both our practices at Peterborough Bretton and Peterborough Vets for Pets. We pride ourselves on a strong team spirit and genuine care for pets and their owners are at the heart of everything we do.
Our practice is based inside the vibrant Pets at Home store in Peterborough Bretton, and our Peterborough Vets for Pets practice is a wonderful standalone building; we offer free parking for staff and clients and easy accessibility at both practices.

At Peterborough Vets for Pets, we have a team of 7 Vets, 6 Registered Nurses, 3 Student Nurses and an incredible administrative support team.
Between our Vets we hold a Certificate in Internal Medicine, Certificate in Cardiology and one currently doing a Certificate in Ultrasonography. We also offer acupuncture and physiotherapy as well as BOAS surgery.
Our Nurses also have fantastic talent with certificates in consulting, anaesthesia, emergency and critical care and a qualified physiotherapist.
