This is a Maternity Cover position, and the salary is dependent on experience, plus benefits.

We are recruiting for a full-time experienced Veterinary Surgeon for our busy, progressive first opinion practice in the lovely market town of Morpeth.

As a Veterinary Surgeon within our Group at Alnorthumbria, there is the opportunity to progress in whatever field interests you, supported by certificate holders in surgery, dermatology and ECC.
Our own dedicated out of hours night team means no night work. We have a shared rota of weekend days and Saturday mornings. This allows plenty of time to enjoy the nearby coasts and hills that Northumberland has to offer. Whether you want to paddleboard, go hill walking, or have a night out in nearby Newcastle or Sunderland, there is something for everyone.
We offer a competitive salary, based on experience.
Shift pattern: This is a 4-day-a-week full-time role covering 40 hours or we would consider these hours over 5 days. You'll also need to be able to work across several sites in Alnorthumbria if necessary.
