A veterinary practice in Leigh is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their advanced team. The ideal candidate will be an RCVS-registered professional with at least 2 years of experience, capable of handling both medical and surgical cases. Located conveniently between Manchester and Liverpool, we are an RCVS Accredited Hospital proudly holding Gold Cat Friendly, Silver Rabbit Friendly, and Dog Friendly status too! Our forward-thinking team is passionate about delivering outstanding care to both patients and clients, and we are committed to supporting your career progression through a variety of CPD opportunities, including certificates and advanced training. Our facilities include a Nurse Training Centre, an onsite Hydrotherapy and Rehabilitation Centre with a physiotherapist, and Class IV Laser Therapy. We are equipped with high-quality ultrasound machines, modern bronchoscope and gastroscope, as well as comprehensive diagnostic tools such as biochemistry, haematology, blood gas analysis, and SediVue diagnostics. Additionally, we offer direct radiography and have seven consult rooms, including separate areas for dogs, cats, rabbits, ICU, and isolation kennels, all designed to support excellent patient care in a professional and welcoming environment.
