A leading veterinary services provider is seeking an experienced OOH Veterinary Surgeon to join their Plymouth team. This part-time position offers a flexible contract option, including both permanent and fixed-term contracts. Rota: 1 week on 5 weeks off.
Opened in 2022, our OOH service is based within the RCVS-accredited Woodlands Veterinary Hospital. Due to continued development and progression of our services, we're looking for an experienced OOH Veterinary Surgeon to join us on a part-time basis.
We can offer a permanent position or a 6–12 month fixed-term contract, depending on your availability. The contract is annualised, with a 1 week on / 5 weeks off rota (shift times 7pm to 8am, Monday to Monday). There's also flexibility around weekend working – these shifts are optional.
This is a brilliant opportunity to experience the buzz of an ECC caseload while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. You'll be joining a close-knit, supportive team that aims to fully work up cases during the OOH shift. There's always a nurse on site, even when you're working sole charge, and we have a WhatsApp support group so you're never on your own.
