Job summary

Medivet in the United Kingdom is seeking a qualified Veterinary Surgeon to join a collaborative, supportive team with access to excellent facilities. The role focuses on delivering high-quality clinical care and continuing professional development.

You’ll work to develop tailored treatment plans, participate in a 4-day week (full-time, part-time considered) with 1 in 6 weekend rotation at Enfield 24-Hour Hospital and on-call duties. Relocation and visa sponsorship available.

Facilities and Equipment

Between the practices this is well-equipped with:

• Digital X-ray
• Dental X-ray
• Modern ultrasound machine
• In-house biochemistry and haematology analysers
• Doppler and oscillometric blood pressure monitoring

Our caseload offers an excellent balance of routine and more complex cases, making this an ideal opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon looking to further develop their clinical skills and pursue their professional interests.

You will be part of a collaborative and supportive team with access to excellent facilities and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality veterinary care. We encourage clinical development and provide opportunities to grow your expertise within a welcoming environment.

Working Pattern

4 day a week (Full time). We are open to applications from both full-time and part-time candidates (part-time hours will be pro-rated).

The role includes

• A 1 in 6 weekend rotation at our Enfield 24-Hour Hospital
• An average of 2 to 3 weeks of on-call duties per year
• Approximately 3 Bank Holidays per year
