Job summary

Medivet is seeking a qualified veterinary surgeon to cover holidays across eight clinics within about a 25-mile radius of Bisley, England. You will provide clinical care in consults and routine surgery, often in sole-charge settings.

You will take clinical ownership of patient care, develop tailored treatment plans with clients, and ensure regulatory compliance and governance across practices. You’ll collaborate with teams and support Medivet communities’ development.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years UK veterinary experience.
• MRCVS qualification required.
• Ability to perform routine surgery independently.
• Confident in consults with clients.
• Adaptable across practice environments.
• Strong client care and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Cover vet holidays across eight clinics within ~25-mile radius.
• Provide clinical care in consults and routine surgery, often in sole-charge settings.

• Refer complex cases to the nearby Wokingham 24-hour hospital when appropriate.

• Shifts from 9am to 7pm and participate in bank holidays and on-call rotas.

Requirements
