Job summary

Vets Now Referrals Manchester is offering a 12-month rotating internship for recent graduates or veterinarians with general practice experience. Interns rotate through Internal Medicine/Cardiology, Surgery, Emergency and Critical Care, with elective rotations available.

The programme provides a strong foundation for future specialty training and develops clinical case management across a diverse caseload with mentorship and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a veterinary degree recognised by the RCVS.
• RCVS registration or eligibility to register is required.
• Eligibility to work in the UK (visa sponsorship available).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with the team.
• Proactive and adaptable approach to learning.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage in all rotations, working with senior clinicians and specialists.
• Conduct examinations, support diagnoses, and develop treatment plans under supervision.
• Assist in surgeries, procedures, and emergency cases across multiple disciplines.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in seminars, journal clubs, workshops, and CPD opportunities.
