Overview

Here at Park Issa, we are looking for a friendly and approachable Veterinary Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis! We are looking for someone to work 2 days a week (7.5 hours) and 1 in 4 Saturdays (7.5 hours).

About the role

As the first point of contact, our receptionists play a vital role in ensuring that our clients and their pets have a welcoming and positive experience. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a warm and compassionate demeanour, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. You will be joining a small, close-knit team that looks after one another, creating a supportive and friendly environment.

Your duties will include general reception duties, dealing with enquiries, answering the phone, making appointments, filing etc.

We have two separate waiting rooms to provide a calming space for nervous animals, a modern prep room where animals are prepared for surgery and minor procedures are carried out, separate dog and cat kennels to minimise stress and temperature control throughout the year and vet beds for maximum comfort and A spacious and well-kept garden ideal for exercising in-patients.
