We have an exciting new opportunity at The Vet Centre for a part-time Veterinary Receptionist to come on board and join our team. This is a fixed-term contract lasting approximately 6 months.
At our veterinary clinic, we provide comprehensive pet care services.As our bright and bubbly Veterinary Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. You will be responsible for greeting clients, scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and providing general information about our services such as our Health Care Plan. You will be the first point of call for our clients, providing support and compassion.
We are looking for a dedicated, professional team member who demonstrates a genuine passion and positive attitude in every task they perform. Candidates must have at least 1 year of demonstrable reception experience, and experience in a veterinary or other practice environment would be ideal. This candidate must be highly self-motivated and possess strong customer service skills.
You will cover a variety of shifts working up to 40 hours per week, including 9 am - 12 pm every Saturday and 11 am - 1 pm every Sunday. Rotas will be produced at least 8 weeks in advance. There may be potential for extra hours to cover holidays and sickness.
