Job summary

Paragon Referrals in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, is seeking a radiographer with MRI and CT expertise to join the veterinary imaging team. You will work alongside radiologists, veterinary surgeons and nurses to deliver high-quality MRI, CT and fluoroscopy examinations for multiple services, including neurology, oncology, medicine and orthopaedics.

The ideal candidate holds a diagnostic radiography degree and has 3+ years in MRI/CT, with training available for veterinary-specific protocols.

Qualifications

• Degree in diagnostic radiography required.
• 3+ years' experience in MRI and CT.
• Experience in veterinary imaging preferred but training provided.
• Full-time role: 40 hours per week; flexible working considered.

Responsibilities

• Operate Toshiba 1.5T Vantage Elan MRI scanner, 16-slice Aquilion CT and fluoroscopy.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
• Maintain infection control standards.
• Communicate effectively with all team members.
• Coordinate with patient coordinator to run daily order of the day.
• In lead radiographer's absence, run daily QA and other checks.
