Southfields Veterinary Specialists are seeking to recruit a full‑time radiographer, or registered veterinary nurse trained in advanced imaging acquisition, to work in the diagnostic imaging department of our newly‑built specialist veterinary hospital in Essex. The role will involve all aspects of imaging, with particular focus on MRI, CT and radiography.

The successful applicant will work alongside our dedicated imaging team, consisting of three EBVS European specialists in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging, two experienced Diagnostic Imaging clinicians, four Diagnostic Imaging nurses and a Diagnostic Imaging patient care assistant. The role will include acquisition of MR, CT and radiograph studies, overseeing all aspects of radiation and MR health and safety requirements, maintenance of the machines and out of hours duties. It is a hands‑on role and requires routine interactions with patients, so a love of animals is essential. Training will be provided where necessary.
Vitally, the successful applicant will demonstrate excellent communication skills, both within the imaging team, as well as the wider hospital, to contribute towards an optimised diagnostic imaging service delivery.
