Job summary

Royal Veterinary College in London’s Hawkshead Campus is seeking a full-time or part-time Staff Clinician/Lecturer in Ophthalmology. The role combines clinical service delivery with teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate curricula.

You will contribute to scholarship in clinical activities, lead teaching efforts, and mentor students and trainees while collaborating with the department to enhance its reputation.

Qualifications

• RCVS registrable degree in veterinary science or eligible to obtain.
• European or American postgraduate diploma in Ophthalmology preferred.
• Strong leadership and teaching skills in a hospital/academic setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ophthalmology clinical services in the College hospitals.
• Provide undergraduate and postgraduate teaching across curricula.
• Lead scholarship and research initiatives in ophthalmology.
• Mentor students and trainees; contribute to postgraduate training programs.
