Job summary

Vetted Recruitment Limited are recruiting on behalf of an independent small animal practice. The RVN will engage in theatre nursing, inpatient care, nurse consultations, laboratory work and client education to deliver high standards of care.

The role offers a varied first‑opinion caseload with expanding surgical services and funded CPD, welcoming both experienced RVNs and enthusiastic newly qualified nurses.

Qualifications

• Qualified RVN eligible to register with the RCVS.
• Experience in first‑opinion practice preferred; newly qualified RVNs welcome.
• Strong teamwork, patient care and communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Theatre nursing, inpatient and ward care, nurse consultations, laboratory work and client education.
• Support patients through surgery, monitor recovery and provide owner guidance for ongoing care.
• Collaborate with a team of vets and nurses in a four‑day rota.
