A modern small animal practice in Coventry is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its friendly and supportive team on a part‑time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an RVN looking for a role that offers flexibility, stability and the chance to continue developing clinically within a well‑established practice. The team is led by an experienced and long‑standing branch partner and benefits from a loyal and engaged client base.

The practice is purpose‑built and has recently undergone a full refurbishment. Facilities include a dedicated nurse consulting room, sterile operating theatre, self‑contained dental suite with dental x‑ray, standard x‑ray room, separate kennels and cattery, and a large outdoor space. Nurses are actively involved in a wide range of clinical duties, including nurse‑led clinics and patient care.

The role is 30 hours per week, worked on a rota between 8:30am and 7:30pm, with 1 in 6 Saturdays, making it ideal for someone seeking a strong work–life balance without compromising on clinical exposure or development.

The Role
  • Deliver consistently high standards of patient and client care
  • Support veterinary surgeons with surgeries and procedures, including pre‑ and post‑operative care
  • Run nurse‑led consultations and schedule 3 activities
  • Monitor inpatients and manage admissions and discharges
  • Dispense and check medications accurately
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure smooth day‑to‑day practice operations
