RSPCA Blackberry Farm in Buckinghamshire is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join a dedicated team. You will focus on high-standard care, support the vet and wider centre, and help animals recover physically and emotionally in a calm environment.
The role involves managing the vet suite, delivering care plans, anaesthesia, imaging, and coordinating with the Behaviour Team to reduce stress for animals as they build trust for a second chance.
At RSPCA Blackberry Farm, you'll leave behind the pressure of general practice to focus entirely on what you came into this profession to do: providing world-class, compassionate care to domestic animals who need a second chance.
At the RSPCA, we are a team of compassionate, committed people who truly care about making a difference. Blackberry Farm Animal Centre sits at the frontline of animal welfare, providing a safe haven for animals who have often come from difficult or traumatic backgrounds.
Set within the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside, our Blackberry farm site offers a calm and supportive environment where both animals and people can thrive. You'll be part of an enthusiastic and dedicated team who genuinely care about every animal that comes through our doors, working together to give them the time, patience, and support they need.
This isn't just about treating clinical conditions. It's about patience, understanding and helping animals learn to trust again. Working closely with our team, you'll play a vital role in supporting each animal's emotional recovery as well as their physical health, helping them feel safe, confident and ready for a second chance.
We believe in keeping things clear and supportive. Here's what to expect:

We want to ensure we do all we can to give you a positive candidate experience through our recruitment. Whilst we do try to give feedback where we can, sometimes due to receiving high levels of applications, this may not always be possible.
Our vision is a world where all animals are respected and treated with kindness and compassion. Our purpose is to inspire everyone to create a better world for animals. We are building the future of a diverse Society, and our priority is to support animal welfare by finding people from all backgrounds who are committed to our purpose. For this reason we actively encourage a wide diversity of applications - in particular from members of minority ethnic groups, and people with disabilities - as these candidates are currently under-represented at the RSPCA. Your transferable skills & lived experiences could make you a valuable addition to our RSPCA Family!
We're here to support you and encourage you to let us know if you need any adjustments at any stage of the recruitment process. Please feel free to contact us at resourcingteam@rspca.org.uk or 0300 123 0685 so we can ensure the process works for you.
