An excellent opportunity for an Advanced Practitioner, Residency trained or Diplomate Dermatologist to join a multi-disciplinary referral hospital in North East England.
Wear Referrals (part of Linnaeus Veterinary Limited, owned by Mars) is a multi-disciplinary, specialist veterinary referral hospital in the north east of England, close to the historic university city of Durham, the thriving city of Newcastle, and set between the north east coast and the Pennines. Our award-winning hospital is also within easy reach of the Yorkshire Dales, the Lake District and Scotland.
Our services, with more than 20 specialists, include neurology, orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, anaesthesia, oncology, diagnostic imaging and cardiology, as well as a busy primary care out-of-hours emergency service and in-house physiotherapy and hydrotherapy. The hospital has a great team feel, with an immediately friendly and warm atmosphere.
We are looking for an Advanced Practitioner, Residency trained or Diplomate in Dermatology, to join our fantastic multi-disciplinary team to manage referral dermatology cases. These may be internal referrals of patients being seen by other specialties or referrals from external primary care practices. You will be working alongside and supported by an in-house team of more than 20 EBVS and RCVS Recognised Specialists to provide the highest quality care.
Facilities include on-site MRI, CT, radiology, ultrasound, fluoroscopy all supported by qualified radiographers and specialist radiologists; endoscopy including flexible and rigid scopes including video-otoscope; videomicroscopy; extensive in-house laboratory; electrochemotherapy; full electrodiagnostics suite; 4 operating theatres; isolation ward; 24hr staffed ICU.
The scope for flexibility within the rota, full-time, part-time and flexible working patterns can be considered, offering excellent work life balance.
