Job summary

Medivet is seeking a Veterinary Care Assistant to support nurses and vets across multiple clinics around Crawley. You will assist with surgical preparation, patient monitoring, and animal handling, while maintaining high hygiene and customer service standards. A full UK driving licence is required for travel between clinics.

The role is full-time (40 hours/week) with 1 in 4 weekends, some bank holiday on-call, and generous benefits including health and wellbeing support and leave entitlements.

Qualifications

• Previous animal care experience is desirable but full training will be given.
• A full valid UK driving licence with access to your own reliable transport as the role involves travelling between clinics.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional care to clients, supporting surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards.
• Deliver patient monitoring and care to pets, including walking, toileting and feeding.
• Work collaboratively within a supportive team.
