Job summary

Medivet is seeking a Veterinary Care Assistant to support nurses and vets with in-patient procedures and pet care, delivering exceptional care to clients, patients and colleagues. You will work as part of a friendly team in a busy practice.

You’ll help monitor patients, assist during surgeries, and provide high-quality client communication while maintaining high standards of welfare and safety. Weekend and bank holiday work may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in pet care and client communication.
• Ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a busy practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional care to clients, supporting surgeries and procedures, complying with all standards.
• Monitor and care for patients, including walking, toileting and feeding.
• Collaborate effectively within a supportive team.
