Pro Med Healthcare Services is seeking a Psychologist or Psychiatrist to perform one-time, non-treatment Compensation & Pension disability evaluations for U.S. Veterans.

This in-person role may include telehealth opportunities for scheduling flexibility; there is no ongoing treatment, patient care management, or prescribing involved. Exams are conducted and documented electronically, with findings submitted to VA for disability determinations.

Formación

• Must be licensed psychologist or psychiatrist in at least one US state.
• PhD or PsyD with an adult psychology focus; APA-accredited program.
• Board certification or 2-year residency for psychiatrists/neurologists.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and EMR platforms.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and informed-care decision-making.

Responsabilidades

• Read orders and review medical history and previous exams.
• Complete DBQs and Medical Opinions via EMR during the exam and provide documentation to VA.
• Explain the exam process and confirm conditions with the veteran.
• Complete the chart and submit the exam within 24–48 hours after the exam.
• Flexible schedule allowing exams in person and potential telehealth.
• Administer and interpret psychological testing as needed.
• Follow protocol for behavioral health or medical emergencies.
