Job summary

Vets for Pets in Canterbury is seeking a personable veterinary surgeon to join a friendly team in the cathedral city. The role offers a 4-day week (min 30 hours), a competitive salary of £45,000–£60,000 (dependent on experience), and a range of benefits including enhanced leave and professional memberships.

You will be part of a team with 2 full-time vets, 5 RVNs, 1 Veterinary Care Assistant and 2 Client Care Advisors, working to deliver excellent patient care and community-focused service.

Qualifications

• Qualified veterinary surgeon with hands-on experience.
• Confident in performing routine surgeries.
• Strong client and team communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships with patients, clients and the local community.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of routine surgeries and diagnostic procedures.
• Provide high standards of patient care and supportive client communication.
• Collaborate with a small team to ensure seamless clinic operations.
