Job summary

A leading tax consultancy is seeking an experienced Vertex Tax Consultant to support a global Vertex tax rollout. The candidate will lead hands-on implementation and configuration, ensuring accurate tax determination. This role requires strong experience with indirect taxes and ERP integration, particularly with Oracle. The position is hybrid, requiring two days on-site work per week in London. Responsibilities include supporting global rollout activities and troubleshooting tax calculation issues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Vertex Tax Consultant.
• Hands-on implementation and configuration experience required.
• Strong understanding of VAT, GST, and Sales & Use Tax.
• Experience with global or multi-country tax rollouts.
• Able to work independently in a delivery-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and configuration of Vertex tax solutions.
• Configure indirect tax rules, rates, jurisdictions, and exemptions.
• Support global rollout activities, including country-specific tax requirements.
• Integrate Vertex with ERP platforms like Oracle and SAP.
• Troubleshoot tax calculation issues and support UAT.
• Provide documentation and post-go-live support.
