Job summary

Haven is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to join our park in Berwick-upon-Tweed, United Kingdom. This full-time, permanent role covers plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general upkeep to ensure guest facilities are always welcoming.

You will perform inspections, diagnose issues, carry out repairs, and respond promptly to requests with a friendly, professional approach. A full UK driving license is preferred, and we offer training, progression opportunities and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry or painting.
• Qualifications in related trades are a plus.
• Experience working on holiday homes is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular inspections and maintenance on park facilities.
• Address minor repairs promptly and diagnose issues.
• Conduct routine checks to prevent problems and ensure safety.
• Respond to maintenance requests from guests or staff with professionalism.
• Keep records and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to deliver high-quality service.
