Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Senior Verification & Validation Engineer in South West London with hybrid working options. The role focuses on verification, validation and integration across the systems engineering lifecycle for high-integrity defence projects.

You will plan and support system and hardware testing, produce test procedures and reports, and collaborate with systems, software and hardware engineers to resolve issues while driving V&V process improvements and ensuring requirements

Qualifications

• Experience delivering V&V across the engineering or systems lifecycle.
• Experience with integration, testing and acceptance of complex systems.
• Ability to develop and execute test procedures and produce technical documentation.
• Understanding of requirements management and traceability, ideally using tools such as DOORS.
• Knowledge of systems engineering principles and structured V&V methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis.
• Experience working with complex hardware, electrical and/or software systems.
• Experience within defence, aerospace, security or another highly regulated engineering environment would be advantageous.

Location: South West London / Hybrid

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + extensive benefits

Security Clearance: Must be eligible for SC clearance and a British passport holder.

Relocation: Can be supported.

Copello is working with a leading engineering and technology organisation to recruit a Senior Verification & Validation Engineer to support the delivery of complex, high-integrity systems with in defence

This is an opportunity to work across the engineering lifecycle, supporting the integration, verification, validation and acceptance of complex hardware and software-based solutions.

The Role
